Navjyoti Royal Heritage School, Bhalukpong, West Kameng District,Arunachal Pradesh is a Co-educational and Day cum Residential School established in the year 1995. It functions under the aegis of Lepang Futhu (Hrusso) Aka Welfare Association, a leading Non -Government Organisation. This School is open for all the students irrespective of religion, caste and community. The aim of the institution is to impart sound and quality education by cultivating habits of piety, virtue and self reliance when they go through their studies. The School is secular in spirit and seeks to imbibe discipline in the children without which, it believes, that education in true of the term is impossible. It strives to prepare individuals with refinement of heart and discipline of spirit, besides equipping them with a sufficient body of knowledge to set foot into the competitive world of the 21st century.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
It is with great pride and joy that I present the Annual Report of Navjyoti Royal Heritage School for the academic year 2024-2025. This year has been marked by remarkable growth, outstanding achievements, and enriching learning experiences for our students, dedicated staff, and the entire school faculty. We have witnessed our students excel not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities, showcasing their talents and leadership skills. Our committed teachers have continued to inspire and nurture young minds, fostering a love for learning and a spirit of curiosity. As we reflect on the accomplishments of this year, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of parents and the hard work of our staff. Together, we are building a strong foundation for our students' futures.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Our students have excelled academically, with a remarkable pass percentage of 100% in board examinations of last session i.e. session 2023-24. Notably, two of our students achieved 5th and 7th rank in the West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh.
In the APSBE (2023-24) for Class IX, our students achieved remarkable results:
- Mst. Nitish Chetry secured 5th rank in the West Kameng district with an impressive score of 92.4%.
- Ms. Tenzin Drema achieved 7th rank in the district with a score of 91.2%.
Subject-wise highlights:
- Mst. Thomas Khiluju scored a perfect 100/100 in Mathematics.
- Mst. Nitish Chetry achieved a perfect 100/100 in Science.
In Class VIII, Mst. Edward Khati, Ms. Moon Sidisow, and Ms. Ashika Kumari excelled in Mathematics and Science, scoring 90+ marks.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school actively promoted co-curricular activities, including debates, art competitions, music etc. the school conducts several of these competitions throughout the year and also ensures that the students participate in whichever competitions and other co curricular activities possible which is being conducted beyond the school premise.Our students also won several inter-school competitions and represented the school at various events. Some of the achievements of our school in the field of co-curricular activities are:
Science Seminar (District Level):
- Ms. Tenzin Drema of Class X secured 3rd Position in the District-Level Science Seminar.
Drawing Competition (Organized by NHPC):
- Mst. Roshan Kr. Giri of Class VI:
- Selected at the district level.
- Secured 3rd Position at the state level.
- Represented the school at the National Level.
Inter-School Literary Competitions: Our students achieved outstanding results:
- Team of Ms. Mishthi, Ms. Riinysa Dususamam & Ms. Tusom Reekang Sidisow – 1st Place in Quiz Competition (Junior Category).
- Mst. Modi Singhi (Cl-II) – 2nd Place in the Drawing Competition (Junior Category).
- Ms. Riyansika Chetiapatra (Cl-UKG) – 1st Place in Painting Competition (Kindergarten Category).
Drawing and Essay Writing Competition (Organized by the PAKKE TIGER RESERVE, Bhalukpong): In the Essay Writing (Seniors):
- Mst. Edward Khati – 1st Position.
- Mst. Nitish Chetri – 2nd Position.
- Mst. Aditya Pandey – 3rd Position.
Along with the above-mentioned, several important days were celebrated such as;
International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2024. On this occasion, an awareness program was organized within the school premises. Additionally, a select group of students was sent to Govt. Middle Village, Model Village, Lower Bhalukpong, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh, to participate in an awareness camp focused on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
During the camp, the resource person emphasized the crucial role students play in preventing drug abuse within society. They also highlighted the pros and cons of drug addiction through an engaging PowerPoint presentation, making the session both informative and impactful.
National Space Day 2024: The school also observed National Space Day 2024 on August 23rd, 2024, with a well-organized program aimed at inspiring and educating students about space exploration. The event particularly focused on India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, celebrating the nation's achievements in space technology. The day's activities were thoughtfully structured to provide students across various grades with both informative and interactive experiences, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for space science.
SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS
Sports continue to be a cornerstone of our institution, fostering a spirit of competition, teamwork, and perseverance among students, teachers, and parents alike. Last session, the school organized its much-anticipated Annual Sports Meet, an event that has become a tradition celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement. Spanning from four days to a week, the sports meet transformed the school grounds into an arena showcasing unbeatable and undying sportsmanship.
The event featured a variety of games, ranging from solo events to group competitions, catering to different interests and abilities. The school made every effort to ensure maximum participation, encouraging students from all age groups to take part and showcase their talents. By doing so, the institution aimed to promote inclusivity and nurture a healthy competitive spirit.
A unique highlight of the Annual Sports Meet was the involvement of parents, making them an integral part of the celebrations. Several events were organized specifically for parents, including exciting activities like tug of war, parents vs. teachers competitions, and running races. These events not only added an element of fun but also strengthened the bond between the school and the parent community.
The Annual Sports Meet once again proved to be a successful platform for showcasing talent, nurturing teamwork, and celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship. It reinforced the importance of sports as an essential component of holistic education. We look forward to even greater enthusiasm and participation in the coming years.
Infrastructure Developments This year, we focused on enhancing the school’s infrastructure. The school library was expanded with new books to foster a love for reading and research among students. Additionally, we have commenced the construction of a new building to facilitate the future expansion of the school, ensuring better facilities and space for our growing students.
New Initiatives in the Session:
- Career Counselling Sessions: Conducted to help students explore and plan their future career paths effectively.
- Yoga for Hostellers: Regular yoga sessions were introduced for hostel students to promote physical and mental well-being.
Community Engagement & Social Responsibility Our students actively participated in community service programs, including environmental awareness campaigns and cleanliness initiatives.
Faculty Development We conducted several professional development workshops for teachers to ensure the best pedagogical practices. Our faculty members attended several training sessions to enhance their teaching methodologies.
Future Goals Looking ahead, we aim to introduce more technological advancements in learning, expand our extracurricular programs, and strengthen our student mentorship initiatives. We remain committed to nurturing future leaders and lifelong learners.
